Raggedy Anne

"Back to the 50s" is a pattern by Gini Simpson. Karen made this beautiful doll for me for Christmas 3 years ago. Could it be because I love Raggedys? The pink running shoes were purchased at a thrift shop for 50 cents. Karen got the sweater in the children's wear department at the same place.

Coraline

"Coraline" is floating in the sky arms extended over your house! This is my original design with the help from Karen ( who created the yellow raincoat- what would I do without her) Some of my sewing students( children)  sewed her in a day workshop. My neighbour Carolyn saw the movie and wanted to make  her and this gave me the idea. If you haven't seen the movie, rent it- you will enjoy it very much.
