I just love dolls!

I just love all my precious dolls and each one has a special place in my heart. My son Bill took the dolls to Haskell Photography for a photo shoot. He did such an excellent job and I am very thankful to him for suggesting to do this.

The Santa and Mr. Iced (snowpeople) is Madame Samm's pattern(madamesamm@cogeco.ca), which she designed. She has only been making dolls for 3 months and has made so many dolls, I can't keep track(50 or so).  Karen, my talented daughter sewed a snowperson too.

Rudolph

Rudolph the button nosed reindeer has anlters made of twig and fake evergreen for the tree. When my neighbour Shelby make hers, we used the real stuff and it kind dried up, but we had a good laugh.

"The Sewing Room"

I have cleared out my old irons, sewing machine teapots and music boxes to make more space because the dolls are taking over! I have a large orange table, perfect for my 5 sewing machines. I get my inspiration in this special room. I have just created two black Raggedy Anne dolls. I just sold one to a woman from Burlington and I loved it so much I had to make on for me. ( I know I will be making more of her.) Just picture yourself sewing with dolls surrounding you giving you a nice ,warm feeling inside. If you don't know how to sew or haven't sewn for a while I can get you started. I can teach children 12 years and older too. It's easy and it is fun.
